Teresa Laal Pajamas Long Sleeves
Our Teresa floral design is unique to Pax Philomena and is inspired by a beautiful Victorian tile detail that Jean Marie saw in her visit to one of Mother Teresa's Homes for the poor in Kolkata. "Laal" means red in Hindi, hence the name. This pattern also comes with a white background called Teresa Safeda.
Calcutta ( named so by the British ) was the capital of British India and is filled with amazing Victorian architecture most of which has not been restored. It is our founder Jean Marie's birthplace and is known as the City of JOY.
Clearly this beautiful Victorian building where Jean Marie noticed the tile detail was donated to Mother Teresa by a kind patron. Pax Philomena hopes one day to do the same and currently contributes to Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity Home for the poor in Phoenix, Arizona. Which was started by Mother Teresa herself in 1989.
