Unique Morado Purple Opal Faceted Necklace

Sale price$895.00

Our Morado Purple Opal Faceted Necklace showcases one of the most unusual and captivating gemstones Jean Marie has encountered in her decades of sourcing jewelry and gemstones from around the world. Displaying extraordinary shades of lavender, lilac, plum, and violet, these remarkable opals possess a depth of color that feels almost impossible in nature. Sourced from the rare Morado opal deposits of Querétaro, Mexico, they are among the most distinctive opals found anywhere in the world.

When Jean Marie discovered these stones, she was immediately captivated, she selected each faceted bead for its exceptional color, luminosity, and character, then carefully matched  them with the artisan to create this extraordinary strand. The beads graduate elegantly from 4 mm to 10 mm, creating a refined silhouette that drapes beautifully along the neckline and gives the necklace a timeless sophistication.

Unlike traditional opals prized for flashes of fire, Morado Opal is treasured for its velvety saturation and luminous glow. Fine material of this quality is becoming increasingly difficult to source, making necklaces such as this exceptionally uncommon. The hand faceting brings each stone to life, revealing subtle shifts between lavender, violet, and deep plum as it catches the light.

For centuries, purple gemstones have been associated with royalty, creativity, wisdom, and intuition. Worn against the skin, these luminous opals radiate a richness and elegance that feels both distinctive and timeless. Rarely seen, difficult to source, and impossible to duplicate exactly, this is the kind of necklace that seasoned collectors hope to encounter once—and never forget.
