Hand-stitched by women artisans using vintage cotton quilts, Kantha is a practice rooted in care and continuity, where worn textiles are revived through thousands of small, rhythmic stitches. Each piece carries the quiet strength of renewal, preserving family stories, cultural memory, and the artistry passed down through generations of women.

One side of Hemlata bursts with joyful intensity: rich crimson reds form the foundation, alive with turquoise florals, deep sapphire blues, and vibrant accents of sunflower yellow and jade green. The patterns feel celebratory and bold, like festival saris drying in the sun or painted temple walls layered over time. Turn the coat inside out and an entirely different world reveals itself, a softer yet equally striking composition where golden yellow panels bloom with oversized floral motifs, balanced by indigo blues, leafy greens, and hints of coral and sky.
