Delfina transports you to the Mediterranean, where brilliant blue seas, whitewashed buildings, painted ceramics, and centuries of decorative arts come together. This intricate botanical design moves through shades of deep indigo, cobalt, azure, and white, giving the fabric a richness and depth that cannot be replicated by mechanical printing. The elaborate borders are particularly demanding to create, requiring skilled artisans to carefully position the carved wooden blocks one impression at a time. Pax Philomena pajamas have a story of their own. Jean Marie grew up sleeping in the wonderfully soft cotton pajamas and nightclothes her mother, Philomena, brought from India. Years later, frustrated by sleepwear that never seemed to have that same softness, she returned to the fine Indian cottons she remembered and created the kind of pajamas she wanted to sleep—and live—in herself.
