Alex Floral Tunic

The Alex tunic is made from a very unique block print that is composed of nine colors including a touch of gold pigment that adds some sparkle to an already beautiful floral. This type of block print is as hard to find as it is to make. Jean Marie, after seeing her niece Alexandra wear the original prototype with such flare, was convinced that she needed to put it into production, hence the name, Alex. The Alex is especially comfortable to wear for plane travel, as it has a generous cut with a slight flare that flatters all figures. It is finished off at the hem with a capricious gold beaded detail.

Asymmetrical cut kaftan with a flattering flare shape and a V-neck collar. This piece features meticulous block printing combined with metallic print embellishments. Buttons are crafted from mother of pearl.

100% cotton, delicate wash in a lingerie bag to protect embellishments or hand wash cold, hang dry.

This fabric is block printed by hand creating subtle variations in the pattern.  Each piece is a unique work of art worthy of honor and celebration.
