The Sleeping Beauty Turquoise mine in Arizona is now defunct it has a long history which dates back to the Anasazi who mined turquoise there. It is one of the hardest to find turquoises around, so when you find it buy it as its value will only increase with time.

This piece is made by a female artisan from the Santo Domingo Pueblo, especially for us. Jean Marie our founder is a collector of Sleeping Beauty turquoise, and she highly recommends this piece.  It features a beautifully arranged cluster of spiny oyster steps, artfully crafted into the shape of a shell motif. The spiny oyster's rich, earthy tones provide a striking contrast to the turquoise, evoking the essence of the Southwest.
