King Manassa Turquoise Necklace with Silver Kokopelli Santo Domingo
This Santo Domingo Silver Kokopelli and King Manassa Turquoise Necklace is a museum-quality treasure and a true work of art. Each turquoise bead, polished and hand-strung with extraordinary care, reveals the natural beauty of King Manassa turquoise—famous for its vibrant greens kissed with golden-brown and blue hues. Since the historic Colorado mine is long closed, this turquoise is increasingly rare, making the necklace not only beautiful but also highly collectible.
This masterpiece was created exclusively for us by a highly skilled female artisan from Santo Domingo Pueblo, whose work has been celebrated at the National Museum of the American Indian in Manhattan, New York. Carrying forward the legacy of her mother and grandmother, she pours her heart and heritage into each creation, now teaching her daughter the same traditions. Every necklace she makes carries the soul of three generations of women artisans, each bead a link to history, culture, and family.
The sterling silver Kokopelli accents deepen the meaning of this piece. Kokopelli—the joyful flute player—has long symbolized fertility, abundance, music, and blessings among Native peoples. His presence in this necklace transforms it into more than adornment; it becomes a talisman of harmony and prosperity.
Exclusive, rare, and profoundly meaningful, this necklace is a living testament to both the earth and the spirit. To wear it is to carry a piece of history, a true heirloom infused with artistry, culture, and love.
