The ogee is a design element which derives from Venetian Gothic architecture and was first seen in textiles in the 1100's CE. Ogee windows and arches were introduced from the Middle East to European cities via Venetian Gothic architecture. 

This dress is hand block printed with natural indigo dyes. It is a work of art and is the epitome of classic comfort. Perfect to use in spring, summer, and into early fall. It is also available in midi length.
