Hand block printed on 100% breathable cotton using the ancient Dabu mud-resist printing technique, each dress is the result of a centuries-old artisan tradition from Rajasthan, India. Skilled craftsmen apply a hand-mixed mud paste to the fabric, dust it with sawdust, and immerse it in natural dyes, repeating the process layer by layer to create remarkable depth and texture. Every swirling motif is printed entirely by hand, making each kaftan subtly unique. This slow, sustainable process honors both the artisan and the earth, using minimal water, no industrial machinery, and techniques that have been passed down through generations.

Jean Marie fell in love with this extraordinary print from the moment she saw it whilst traveling thru the villages of Rajasthan.
