"Peacocks have been a part of the Rambagh Palace's history for many years."
The peacocks at Rambagh Palace add even more charm and majesty to the palace grounds. These gorgeous birds are known for their iridescent blue and green plumage, long striking tails, and their distinctive crest of feathers on their heads.
Peacocks have been a part of the Rambagh Palace's history for many years. The palace was originally built in 1835 as a residence for the queen's favorite handmaiden, and it was later converted into a hotel. The palace's gardens were designed to create a haven for wildlife, including peacocks, and to provide a serene and tranquil environment for the palace's inhabitants.
Today, the peacocks at Rambagh Palace continue to roam freely within the palace grounds. They are treated as a cherished part of the palace's history and legacy, and add a unique ambience unlike any hotel in the world.
If you find yourself in Jaipur, a trip to the Rambagh Palace is an absolute must. The palace's staff takes great care to ensure that the peacocks are well-fed and looked after, and they are happy to share their knowledge and stories about these fascinating birds with visitors. If you are lucky, you might even have the opportunity to hand feed these magnificent creatures or watch as they spread their plumage in one of the most impressive mating displays you'll ever witness.
