Our Fatima Floral print reminds us of Fatima because the blue is very similar to the blue in which the Virgin Mary is commonly depicted. Jean Marie grew up hearing stories of our Lady of Fatima from her mother Philomena who saw the famous statue in India and recounted this story to her various times during her childhood. Our Lady of Fatima, aka the Blessed Virgin Mary, was reported to have appeared in 1917 to three shepherd children at the Cova da Iria, in Fatima, Portugal.
